Audible is a software program that makes listening to books very easy. You can enjoy your favorite books while you are on long road trips, running errands and even in the gym working out. It offers more than 35,000 audio books, audio newspapers and audio magazines and all at affordable prices.
Features
This software makes it incredibly easy to find books on any topic and any genre whether you know the title and author or not. It has about 27 different categories that you can browse, or you can enter your search terms in the box and search by author, title, and keyword. It also features the best seller’s list so that you can see what everybody else is downloading and listening to.
Audible also has reviews on different books so that you can see what everybody else thinks about it before you buy it. You can also write your own reviews on books that you have already listened to so others can view your opinion. If you still can not decide on what book you want after reading the reviews, they offer small free samples of each book. These samples are high quality with no buffer delays.
One feature that Audible has not gotten in to yet is audio book renting. If you are looking for this feature, then this is not the software for you.
One good feature is that Audible listeners get about 75% off of the retail value of audio books and free audio exclusives and promotions. Along with this feature, you also get instant downloads which is paradise for bookworms.

Audible has many different categories that you can browse. They range from health and fitness to arts and entertainment to newspapers to magazines and young adults. You can even get monthly subscriptions to some of your favorite newspapers and magazines such as the Wall Street Journal, Forbes and the New York Times.
When this review was done, Audible was offering their monthly subscription service at the price of $7.49 for the first 3 months, which is half off the normal price. With the monthly subscription, you get to choose from over 40,000 titles and your download credits that you do not use roll over at the end of each month so you do not lose them.

Audible is a great service and it is great for the price. The site, www.audible.com is very easy to navigate with large easy to read buttons. The sign up process is also easy to follow and step by step. They also have and email newsletter that you can sign up for as a member so that you can keep up to date on new releases or any special offers
