What is Blaze Media Pro?
Blaze Media Pro by Mystik Media is an all-in-one multimedia software that is both powerful and easy to use. This software is compatible with Windows 98SE, Windows Millenium, Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows Server 2003. Unfortunately it is not compatible with Windows Vista.
What does it feature?
Blaze Media Pro offers easy file conversion, ripping, burning, editing, recording, playback and many other features. You can burn audio, video (VCD,SVCD,DVD), and data cds and dvds. It also has advanced features that some other programs do not offer such as video capturing, video creating/editing/extraction, media management, audio merging, copying music cds, and many others. You can even do a lyrics search for your favorite songs. This software has the ability to convert almost any file type to another with ease.
How can I use this software?
Blaze Media Pro works with streaming video as well as MIDI files and has very good filtering features. You can also use this software to apply many different effects to your audio/video recordings such as amplification, fade, pitch changes, stretching, and re-sampling. It has a couple good filtering features such as band pass and high/low shelf, but it is not the best software for audio restoration or signal analyzing. Blaze Media Pro does not offer a noise reducer, smoother, or a pop/click remover.
You can also use Blaze Media Pro to pull images and sounds from your video files, line-in, sound cards and record from streaming audio and video. You can also use this software to record from something as simple as the microphone on your computer or a cassette player that you have attached to your computer. It also has the ability to add sound effects to your video files so if you are working on a home movie, then you can add little sounds to make it more interesting. It features audio tag editing including FreeDB support.
Summary
Blaze Media Pro has a user friendly, customizable interface so you can change gow it looks to suit who you are. It does not offer quite as many audio editing tools as other programs out there, but it is a great product for those who are in the beginning of the audio editing/recording process and also those who are more experience who need the flexibility of multiple file format conversions.
Blaze Media Pro offers a free trial of the software so you can try it before you buy it. This is only a small price to pay for something that is very user friendly and supports many different file formats.
