Evidence Eliminator Review When it comes to your privacy, there should be no guesswork and no funny business. After all, we're talking about your personal information. Though you may not realize it, you could have given away some of your information to your web bank or other type of similar website. Your computer saves that information for faster retrieval, and someone could come along and swipe it... if you let them.
Evidence Eliminator is the solution, my friends, as it thoroughly (and I mean thoroughly) wipes off specified information from your hard drive. This software is a true workhorse, and it is a must have. If you want true security, you need this software. Thankfully, if you ask this software to jump, it will eagerly respond with “how high?”.
Features Evidence Eliminator is probably the most advanced and comprehensive privacy suite we have come across. The feature list is quite extensive, and it even includes magnetic resonance prevention, meaning that there is literally no way that the deleted data can be recovered. It doesn't matter what method they try to use, from standard data recovery software to electron analysis- the deleted data stays gone.
Evidence Eliminator is very comprehensive. It deletes everything that it can find, such as your Windows swap file, all application histories (all of them), clipboard data, registry backups, RAM allotments, boot files, etc. Along with deleting all of the history from your computer, it also does a great job of actually speeding your computer up (by deleting all of the junk).
Using Evidence Eliminator Admittedly, the interface is not as user friendly as some of other programs out there, its capabilities and thoroughness more than make up for it. Our experience with the software has shown tremendous results, and it has been quite difficult for us to write a review that isn't overflowing with enthusiasm and praise. New users, both beginners and advanced, may find the interface a bit overwhelming at first, and the warnings that pop up can be intimidating. However, you should take it all with a grain of salt.
Evidence Eliminator does give you plenty of warning about when you may change a setting or are about to delete something important, so it's important that you take your time and really read what's happening on screen. This way, not only will you know what's being deleted, but you'll also make sure that you don't accidentally delete something important.
Some of the default settings didn't make a ton of sense to us, and though we suppose it's for security reasons, we changed them anyway. This came down to the mundane little details, such as Evidence Eliminator wanting to delete all non-standard Microsoft Outlook folders. There were small irritants that were easily fixed, but it’s still important to note that you need to watch out for them.
Try as we might, we were unable to recover any of the data that we deleted, regardless of the data recovery method that we used. Impressive, and it does bring peace of mind in knowing that we've deleted is going to stay gone.
Conclusion This software is the ultimate. It is like the Ferrari of the privacy software world, and though you have to take some time learning how to drive it properly, it will blow you out of the water once you've figured it out. Its performance is amazing, and it leaves no stone unturned.
This is what privacy software needs to be like, and even though there are some flaws, they are small in comparison to the larger picture. This software provides security, stability, and peace of mind. How much are you willing to pay for that?
